No agency can guarantee that ChatGPT or another independent system will recommend your brand. We can check the work on your site and record the answers we observe. Those are useful measures, but they do not give us control over the result.
Apply it to your business
Agree on work that can be verified: content delivered, technical checks passed, evidence retained and repeat measurements performed. Treat any commercial service credit as a contract term, not proof that an agency controls rankings.

Separate delivery commitments from external results
An agency can commit to a defined scope: inspect specified pages, prepare agreed content, check changes, document releases and report observations. Those commitments are different from promising that an external search system will recommend a brand at a particular position. Ask for the delivery commitments in writing. If a proposal guarantees a ranking, establish the exact product, question, market, collection method and conditions. A screenshot without those details is not a dependable acceptance test.
Decide what counts as improvement before editing
For a page change, acceptance might include a correct product fact in readable HTML, a working internal link or a clearer answer to a buyer question. External measurement should be specified separately. Keep the prompt, market and collection surface consistent and collect repeated observations. Record missing results and unchanged answers as well as favourable ones. This prevents a better extraction test from being presented as a proven ranking gain, or a single different answer from being attributed entirely to the site edit.
Use a testable next step
An illustrative starting experiment is to add a supported explanation of a service boundary that buyers often misunderstand. First retain the old page and a dated answer observation. Then publish the reviewed explanation, verify the public page and observe the same question again under comparable conditions. The change may help a visitor even if external visibility stays the same. The report should state both outcomes plainly. A practical check
A valid page and a successful crawl are evidence of access. They are not a commitment from Google or another provider to rank or cite that page.
