You should be able to see why a change was made and what happened after it. Here’s how we keep that record.
First, understand what your customer needs
We start with a customer, a problem and a market. For PTA, the first question is “best GEO agency in San Diego.” The broader US question comes next. We keep the question and collection conditions consistent so the comparison has meaning.
Then, see what competing pages do well
We compare each priority page with at least three selected competitors. We compare pages doing the same job: answering a question, explaining a service, setting out a price or describing how information is used. A broad service page is labelled a broad comparison, not passed off as an exact answer match.
Choose the change that helps the buyer
We compare what the pages explain, which facts they support, how a visitor reaches the next step, and what is present in the HTML. That includes the title, search description, headings, links, image descriptions and structured data. We write original answers in the client’s voice, using facts the client can support.
Answer the question that comes next
An answer should move the buyer forward. Each reviewed GEO answer includes a practical check and links to related decisions. We treat suggested follow-ups as ideas to check against real customer questions and search evidence.
Check the work before it reaches your customers
The mimic check tests the page we control: can its facts be extracted, do its links work, and does the markup agree with what visitors see? Staging keeps that test separate from production. A change record includes its source evidence, expected effect, acceptance checks and rollback plan.
Come back and see what changed
A later page check and a later external answer are different observations. Reports keep the question, page versions, changed facts, checks and next action together. A competitor update is a reason to investigate; it is not an instruction to rewrite your site automatically.
What is working in this pilot
- A live homepage read, without requiring an email first.
- Public-page snapshots, change monitoring and a reusable SEO audit.
- Page-by-page benchmark records and a linked GEO answer library.
- Local staging checks, evidence validation and a controlled rollback test.
Live answer collection across providers, verified server/CDN crawler logs, production publishing and ad management still require their integrations. This chat uses reviewed answers and website checks; it is not connected to a general-purpose language model.
Know what each observation proves
- Observed answer: a captured response from a named product surface, with question, time and citations.
- Verified request: an authenticated provider request in an authorized server or CDN log. It proves a request, not how an answer was selected.
- Our public fetch: the HTML our monitor retrieved. It is not a competitor’s private crawler log.
- Extraction test: what a defined local reading method recovered from a page. It is not a replica of a provider’s private ranking system.
A browser snippet can support visitor interactions. It cannot guarantee detection of all AI crawler requests. Google-Extended is a robots control token, not a separate request user agent.
