Does llms.txt work?

An llms.txt file can be a convenient content index for systems that use it. Google says Search ignores it for visibility and rankings. Put the effort into useful pages, accurate facts and working links first.

Apply it to your business

Keep an optional index consistent with your public pages, but do not sell it as a ranking improvement. Google’s guidance is explicit about Search; support in other systems needs to be checked separately.
